MOTORCYCLE RENTAL
1- Contractual conditions
Confirmation of a booking with Butterfly Motorcycle Tours (BMT) certifies the customer’s agreement to the terms and conditions.
2- Booking and Confirmation
All bookings must be confirmed by sending a duly completed booking form, through our website booking process.
The booking of a motorcycle is only confirmed when a 20% deposit is paid through our secure payment platform (Credit card),
The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before the date booked.
If the rental period is less than 60 days at the time of booking, then the whole amount is due at the time of booking.
3- Cancellation policy
No payment made is refundable in cash. To protect yourself against cancellation, you may take out private travel cancellation insurance.
In the event of cancellation of the tour by BMT, all payments made will be refunded to the customer.
4- Insurance and Liability
Participants to Butterfly Motorcycle Tours are encouraged to take out personal and private medical insurance as well as travel insurance. BMT is not responsible for personal damage, loss or theft of personal belongings.
5- Customer responsibility
Customers are required to comply with local laws, follow safety instructions provided by BMT and abide by the rules of responsible driving.
6- Butterfly Motorcycle Tours responsibility
BMT undertakes to provide services of the quality described in the promotional material. In the event of a problem, BMT will endeavor to resolve the situation fairly
7- Motorcycle rental
Rental conditions for hiring motorcycles are as follows:
– To be at least 25 years old
– To Hold a motorcycle license with over 3 years validity
– Present a valid passport or ID.
– To have a good motorcycle riding experience
– To Pay a deposit by credit card.
Deposit table
BMW R 1250 GS / R 1300 GS : 2 000 Euros
BMW F 850 GS / F 900 GS : 1 600 Euros
BMW F 750 GS / F 800GS : 1 400 Euros
This deposit will be returned to the customer or destroyed in his or her presence after the motorcycle has been checked on return from the tour and if no damage has been caused.
In the event of material damage to the motorbike during the tour, the cost of repairs (parts and labor) will be paid by the customer up to the amount of the corresponding deposit.
All our motorbikes are equipped with Crash Bars, hand guards, high bubbles, etc., They are also equipped with an aluminum Top Case and with a Phone Holder.
8- Insurance
All motorbike hire includes third-party liability insurance for personal injury, property damage and financial loss. Maximum coverage for personal injury is subject to the guarantees applicable in Morocco. This coverage is limited to Moroccan territory.
In the event of at-fault accidents, damage caused when parking, theft of the motorbike or hit-and-run by the other party, the customer will be liable for up to the full amount of the deposit.
The customer is responsible for all breaches of the highway code or public order. In such cases, BMT is exempt from all costs and fines.
Premium insurance
Customers can take out one of BMT Free Care Packages, which allows them to reduce their deposit as follows:
Basic Advanced Complete

9- Break Down Assistance
BMT’s assistance is available for the entire duration of the rental period.
In the event of a motorbike breakdown for which the customer is not responsible, BMT undertakes to replace the motorbike in question within 12 hours of the customer’s request at no extra cost.
In the event of a breakdown for which the customer is responsible (driving error, riding on an unauthorized route, etc.) or of an accident occurring during the tour and requiring mechanical assistance from BMT or the replacement of the motorbike, all costs incurred for this assistance will be invoiced to the customer (transport costs, handling, accommodation and catering for the assistance team, ….). These costs will be added to the cost of repairing the motorcycle, including spare parts, up to the limit of the deposit paid at the outset.
10- Motorcycle Use
Our motorbikes are for use on tarmac roads. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the cancellation of the advanced or Complete Free Care Packages, the basic package will then prevail.
11- Motorcycle Pick Up and Return Location
Our fleet is located at Butterfly Motorcycle Tours main address : Jnane Lakbir, Douar Shib, Amizmiz Road, CR Tameslohte. (Refer to our Google map on www.butterflymotorcycletours.com).
All motorbike deliveries and returns must be made to this address
GUIDED TOURS
12- Booking and Confirmation
All bookings must be confirmed by sending a duly completed booking form.
However, the booking of a tour is only confirmed once BMT has received a deposit, the amount and terms of payment of which are defined at the time of booking.
The balance of the total cost of the tour must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the tour. Except in the case of special conditions agreed between the customer and BMT at the time of booking.
13- Package Tours
BMT markets package tours through its exclusive partner ‘Select Travel & Event’, holder of travel agency license number 13D/07, in compliance with current Moroccan legislation. Accordingly, customers will have to transfer a part of the total amount of the package to Select Travel & Event bank account, through a Wire transfer. The exact amount, the timing and bank details will be communicated to the customers when the booking is confirmed.
14- Tour Participant responsibility
Participants to Butterfly Motorcycle Tours are required to comply with local laws, follow safety instructions provided by BMT and abide by the rules of responsible driving throughout the tour.
Participants must also inform BMT of any pre-existing medical conditions. Participation to our tours may be subject to specific medical conditions.
BMT reserves the right to exclude any participant who disrupts the tour or endangers the lives of other participants.
15- Assistance
All our guided tours include the assistance of a Tour Guide on a leading motorcycle and a mechanic driving a support vehicle. The team is on hand to help customers organize the tour (logistics, check-in and check-out, restaurants, etc.), as well as carrying out regular maintenance on the motorbikes and repairing any breakdowns.
16- Force Majeure
BMT reserves the right to modify or cancel the tour or any stage of the tour without financial liability in the event of force majeure (unforeseeable events, natural disasters, road conditions, weather conditions, etc.). Customers will be informed of any major changes.
17- Disputes and jurisdiction
Any disputes will be submitted to a jurisdiction determined by Moroccan law. Every effort will be made to resolve any dispute amicably.
18- Complaints
Customers may submit any complaints to BMT within a maximum of 15 days after the end of the tour. BMT undertakes to investigate complaints and to deal with them fairly.
19-Terms and conditions modifications
BMT can modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be informed of any changes before booking.
