Butterfly Motorcycle Tours adventure began more than 20 years ago when Réda Jabri, a Moroccan native, after 5 years with an international audit and consultancy firm, decided to make a radical career change.
“The various assignments I have carried out throughout Morocco as an auditor have enabled me to discover just how many treasures and wonders my country abounds in, so it seemed obvious to me that sharing these treasures was going to become my new career path”.
And what better way to combine his passion for motorbikes with his live for travel?
In 2003, Réda left his home town of Casablanca, moved to Marrakech and founded PALM ROAD, an agency specialized in running motorbike tours throughout Morocco.
This was followed by 10 years of touring and meeting bikers of all nationalities. Some of these encounters enabled him to become part of the BMW Motorrad world by organizing the launch of the Boxer R1200GS LC in Marrakech in 2013.
In the same year, Palm Road became an official BMW partner and Réda a certified BMW Tourguide from the BMW Tourguide Academy (first certified local Tourguide in Africa).
20 years after its debut, and after an interruption forced by COVID, “PALM ROAD” became “Butterfly Motorcycle Tours”,
